John Sebring came to Bangor with his parents when he was 16 years old.  He became proprietor of the Sebring House Hotel when his father died in 1878.  In 1892 he was elected president of the West Michigan Savings Bank.  John died suddenly in 1919.  His wife Clara lived for several years in Bangor before she died.  They had no children.  We would like to know what happened to the Sebring estate.
