Dr. Cronin was born in Indiana slightly before the Civil War. He came to Bangor in the mid-1880's. He purchased the wagon factory and home owned by Stephen McMillan, known today as the old Adams Electronics property (currently owned by MacDonalds). It is thought that the Dr. had a family, but that isn't certain. We are not sure what the initials M.C. stand for. Sometime after the turn of the century he moved to Mt. Clemens, MI. He was a prominent citizen of the community and invested a large sum of money into his property. We would like to hear from the Dr.'s relatives. |
