All of these photos were found in a photo album belonging to John S. Cross and his wife Alice (Brown) Cross.  Mr. Cross was the son of Bangor Founder Charles U. Cross and lived in Bangor a majority of his life.  He attended Hillsdale College in the early 1870's.  Some of the photos might be of friends from college or possibly Bangor friends and family.  Below the photos are captions of where the photography studio was located.  This does not mean they don't have a connection with Bangor.  If you can identify any of these people, please email  bob@bangormihistory.com  so we can put a name to the face.  Thank you.
