The roofers came in to strip the old shingles off the roof.  They cleaned off the original wood shakes, a metal roof and three layers of asphalt shingles.  It took them a little over half a day.

This is the view above the bins.  The square hole in the middle is the cupola.  The cupola was shored up and raised about four inches.  It now sits on new beams.

The new trusses to the right will be removed and a new dormer will be added. 

The rotted portion of the roof on the eastside was removed and will be rebuilt.
